For Auditioning Companies

Held in early September at Spirit Square's McGlohon Theatre in Charlotte, NC. Representatives from over 30 professional stock, regional, repertory, touring and dinner theatres, theme parks and cruise lines seek professional actors, singers and dancers for their up-coming seasons.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS TO APPLY AS A WALK-IN PROFESSIONAL:

You may apply ONLINE after reading the instructions in your Guidelines document (below) -- you will still need to PRINT the application and bring it with you along with your credit card or money order ($50) to the auditions site in Charlotte.

• Have graduated from high school and not be in school at this time.

• Be 18 years of age or older.

• Have two paid acting contracts with professional companies (Companies must be approved by the SETC Auditions Committee) OR be a fully paid current member of Actors Equity Assn.

• Include two recommendations from professional directors listed on your application
(Current Equity Members are exempt from this requirement, but must verify their Equity Card number at time of application -- and present card onsite at the auditions)

• Be available to work within reasonable time after the Fall Auditions.


1) Auditionees must apply for audition slots. After reading the guidelines, go online to apply.

2) Bring your application (either printed from the online process or the paper application).

3) ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE COMPLETE with photo and references in order to apply.

4) Applications will be screened onsite to see if an audition slot is awarded.
