Spring Graduate School
Auditions and
Design/Tech/Directing Interviews
March 6, 2009, Birmingham, AL
Most universities require auditions or interviews for admission
into their graduate programs, and the rising cost of travel
for students seeking the right program makes a unified audition
opportunity a must. Over 20 institutions from all over the
United States are expected to participate in this year's
SETC Graduate Auditions.
Spring Graduate School Auditions are held on Friday of the SETC
Annual Convention in March. It is open to qualifying
students who seek admission or transfer to graduate acting
and design/technical/directing programs. Participating institutions
should also be able to provide financial aid and information
about available scholarships.
Candidates are accepted by online application only. Only the first 150 students who are accepted will be allowed to audition/interview, thus it is very important that all guidelines are closely followed and the application and fees are correctly submitted as soon as possible. For an application to be correctly submitted all mandatory fields must be completed and the application must include a reference from a theatre educator/professional, a photo, and online payment. If your application is accepted to attend the Spring 2009 Grad School Auditions and Interviews, you will receive a confirmation email with your audition/interview number.
