Each
March SETC hosts combined Professional Auditions
for approximately 100 professional hiring theatres
as part of the annual convention. SETC requires
that all pre-professional actors (students and
adults) be screened on the state level before
being accepted to the auditions in March.
Actors currently enrolled in school (1) ,
whether or not they have earned a salary acting, must
attend the state screening auditions. Auditionees
must register for the state screenings and must apply
online for the SETC Auditions.
Each state in SETC's 10 State Region holds preliminary auditions in the Fall in order to send the most qualified actors to participate in the regional auditions at the annual convention in the spring.
The State Screenings to qualify for the Spring Professional Auditions in March 2009 will take place across our 10-state region in the Fall/Winter of 2008. (Dates vary by state.)
