Cancellation & Refund Policy

Convention/Spring Events

Professional Auditions: Refunds are available upon written request prior to NOON (ET) January 15th, the year of the event, minus a $20 administrative fee. Requests for refunds must be made via email to april@setc.org no later than NOON January 15th. No refunds available after January 15th.

All other activities: Refunds are available upon written request prior to NOON (ET) January 28th, the year of the event, minus a $20 administrative fee. Requests for refunds must be made via email to info@setc.org no later than NOON (ET) January 28th. No refunds available after January 28th.

Transfer of Registration and Application Fees

Fees made for transfers to another person must be approved by SETC. SETC reserves the right to charge an administrative fee to all requests for transferring a reservation from one individual to another. Cancellations made after refund deadline dates are not transferable to another person. Transfers will be granted at the discretion of SETC, and do not apply to activities such as auditions and other events which require application/qualification.

Auditions/Fall Events

Refunds are available upon written request prior to NOON (ET) August 15th, the year of the event, minus a $10 administrative fee. Requests for refunds must be made via email to april@setc.org no later than NOON August 15th. No refunds available for requests made after August 15th.

Force Majeure

SETC will not be held liable for damages due to any delay or default in performing hereunder if such delay or default is caused by conditions beyond its control including, but not limited to, acts of God (such as hurricanes, earthquakes, flooding), fire, Government restrictions (including the denial or cancellation of any export or other necessary license), wars, terrorist acts, labor union strikes, insurrections and/or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of SETC whose performance is affected. Should any SETC event be cancelled, postponed or otherwise adversely impacted as a result of a force majeure event, there shall be no refunds for payments already received by SETC, but SETC will use all reasonable efforts to work with Clients to produce the Event at a later date if necessary, subject to venue availability, and a substitute venue may be used by SETC on the rescheduled date(s). Additional fees may be incurred and payable to SETC and/or Event Vendors as a result of a rescheduled event.
