Support Theatres affected by Hurricane Katrina

Have you got any theatrical equipment, ranging from lighting instruments and sound equipment to seats, that you are willing to donate to theatres (professional, community, high school and university), which have been destroyed by Hurricane Katrina?

When you become aware of your theatre's losses please email the SETC Central Office, setc@setc.org, with a list of your needs. Also check out what is currently available from Donators.

Here is how the process works:

•Evaluate items you can donate or items you need.
•Download the corresponding spreadsheet.
•Fill in the required information.
•Fax (336-272-8810), email (setc@setc.org) or call the SETC Central Office (336-272-3645) with your list.
•Your donations and needs will be posted on SETC’s website with your contact information.
•Theatres in need can view the list and contact the donator directly. It will be up to the "giver" and the "receiver" to make your own arrangements.
•The final step will be to inform SETC of a progress report, detailing the items you have donated or received. Donated items or needed items will be removed from our website, keeping the list current.
The SETC Central Office is coordinating this effort. We are grateful for the support of other regional, state and national organizations that are helping this effort.
