The Southeastern Theatre Conference (SETC) offers a year round Job Contact service for offstage and onstage jobs.
Job Contact Bulletin & Job Contact Service
Job Contact Bulletin is a online listing of off-stage, backstage, front-of-house, box-office, technical, creative and administrative job openings and audition notices. The weekly Job Contact Bulletin is sent out each Wednesday via Constant Contact email to SETC members.
Job Contact Service (Job Fair) occurs each March and is a part of the Annual Convention where 100+ theatres and organizations interview 750+ prospective employees. Job Contact Service 2014 will be held Thurs., March 6 - Sat., March 8 in Mobile, AL.
Job Contact Connects Qualified Employees to Employers
There are three ways that Professional Theatre Companies and Educational Institutions find qualified, experienced workers through SETC.
I. Job Contact Bulletin
List your job opening in Job Contact Bulletin (click to see the listings). Our new format is user friendly and can be accessed 24 hours a day.
Reach thousands of theatre professionals and students from across the country who subscribe to Job Contact. For costs and how to list your job click here. As new jobs are added, weekly emails are sent to subscribing members. These emails are forwarded to hundreds of people -- a great way to make connections.
II. *Search for Employees (*NEW)
With online resumes and portfolios listed from qualified individuals, employers can search for employees with a theatre background through our unique listing service. Check it out here.
III. Job Contact Service
SETC hosts one of the nation's largest Offstage Theatre Job Fairs during our Annual Convention. Approximately 100 companies set up at Job Contact Service and interview more than 750 prospective employees at the annual event.
Employers seek to fill positions in every area of theatre, including offstage, academic, administrative, backstage, design, stage management, costumes, props, electrical, carpentry, lighting, front-of-house and technical jobs, as well as intern and apprentice positions. Theatres, performing arts organizations and educational institutions from across the nation participate.

SETC hosts one of the nation's largest Offstage Theatre Job Fairs during our Annual Convention. Approximately 100 companies set up at Job Contact Service and interview more than 750 prospective employees at the annual event. Meet employers in person and interview with multiple organizations onsite.
