SETC Summer and Outdoor Theatre Auditions (in-person) No screening required
SOTA auditions are for college students and professionals who want to work in Outdoor Theatres during the summer. These contracts are for summer only. Tech candidates may also apply for tech jobs.Spring Professional Auditions (in-person) Screening required
Spring professional auditions require a screening in November in order to be passed on to the in-person audition in March, in front of Hiring Companies. These auditions are for college students and professionals who are looking for year-round and summer work. Tech candidates may also apply for tech jobs.Fall Professional Auditions (in-person) Screening required
Fall Professional Auditions are for non-college students (you can be a graduate student) but professionals who are looking for year-round work. You will need to pass the screening for this audition that opens in July. Tech candidates may also apply for tech jobs.College Program Auditions (in-person) No screening required
For high school and graduate students looking to further their education in a theater program. There is no screening required for this audition. Tech candidates may also apply for tech programs.
Professional Auditions and Tech Interviews
These auditions connect professional-level talent to hiring companies. Actors, singers and dancers participating in these auditions must either meet SETC’s professional experience requirements or must pass through a preliminary screening or qualifier audition prior to the auditions. SETC offers: Fall Professional Auditions, Spring Professional Auditions, and Summer Outdoor Theatre Auditions.

SETC offers recruiting events for those looking to pursue an education in theatre. Both undergraduate- and graduate-level programs attend acting auditions and design/tech interviews as part of the annual SETC Convention.
