Silent Auction

Each year at the annual SETC Convention, the Endowment Committee of the Southeastern Theatre Conference conducts a Silent Auction to generate funds to support many valuable scholarships SETC provides to students throughout the southeastern region.

Masquerade Theme

The theme of the 2018 Silent Auction in Mobile, AL will be “Masquerade” — both as a nod to Mobile’s rich history of Mardi Gras and as a celebration of ALL styles of masquerade! This is fun way and a wonderful opportunity to complete that perfect outfit for a Masquerade Ball-themed Saturday Night Banquet Gala & Award Ceremony festivities.

What We Need

Please consider donating an item to this year’s silent auction. We would love to include original masks and costume pieces of all styles and sizes. Think Commedia dell’Arte, think Carnival, think outside the box! Take your inspiration from another country like Italy or Brazil, or another genre like Steampunk. It can even be an elegant, historic, pop culture or fantasy costume in true masquerade form.

We would like to make this year’s auction more accessible to students and young professionals by offering some auction items that both interest them and are more affordable. If you cannot make a donation at this time but know of a colleague, school, theatre or other organization that might, please pass this information on to them. Any donations will be sincerely appreciated.
