Mark Snyder
A beloved member of SETC’s Central Office staff for 14 years, Mark Snyder passed away on July 30, 2018.
Mark was a graduate of High Point College’s American Humanics Program, and a brother of Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity. Following graduation he served as Senior District Executive for the Boy Scouts of America for 22 years; he remained very active in scouting until his passing. In 2004, he began working part-time with SETC in preparation for the SETC Conventions and Auditions, but quickly became an integral part of the full-time staff.
At Convention, Mark managed registration. He also oversaw financial tracking for the online audition and convention registration payments. For a couple of weeks, each fall and spring, Mark escaped from SETC to manage a large furniture showroom at the High Point (NC) International Furniture Market. He also was involved with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina.
