We are seeking a dynamic and organized Costume Shop Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the costume shop for our productions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of costume design, and the ability to, at times, manage a team of wardrobe assistants and volunteer stitchers. This position will work closely with the staff production team as well as guest designers, ensuring the timely creation, alteration, and maintenance of costumes for all performances.

Job duties include:

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the costume shop, ensuring an organized and efficient workspace.

• Develop and manage costume shop budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective purchasing of materials and supplies.

• Schedule and oversee costume fittings, making adjustments as necessary to ensure costumes fit performers properly and comfortably.

• Ensure costume deadlines are met according to production schedules, including pre-show preparations and post-show clean-ups.
