As a Tony Award-winning Broadway Producer and more than 40-year-old regional theatre, RMT is looking for a collaborative and solutions-driven Audio-Visual Supervisor to help bring our productions to life through exceptional sound and video design.

The Audio-Visual Supervisor serves both a technical and creative role with regards to the sound and video elements needed for all RMT productions and events. On the technical side, the AV/S is responsible for the operation and live mixing of all sound elements during a performance (with the assistance of the Audio-Visual Engineer). Creatively, the AV/S will work collaboratively with the members of the Creative Team to design and implement all audio needs, foley elements, specialized sound effects, and sound beds to support productions. The AV/S also maintains the stability of the AVOIP network and manages both the full-time and overhire AV staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sound Design or equivalent experience

• 3+ years in sound design/engineering for professional theatre

• Experience with networked video systems, digital consoles, and projection

• Familiarity with Q-Sys, QLab, Logic Pro, and Pro Tools

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Apple OS/iOS

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Preferred:

• 5+ years of relevant experience

• Dante Certification Level 3

• Studio recording experience
