Olney Theatre Center, a dynamic and growing regional theater just outside Washington, D.C., is seeking an Associate Lighting Supervisor to join our collaborative production team. This is a fantastic opportunity to directly impact the artistic vision of multiple productions across our state-of-the-art four-venue campus, working alongside nationally recognized designers and artists.

Located just ten miles north of Washington, D.C., Olney Theatre Center is one of the region's most critically acclaimed large theater companies. Founded in 1938, we've grown into an $10M/year professional regional theater, presenting a robust season that attracts diverse audiences. Our stages have been graced by legends like Helen Hayes, Sir Ian McKellen, Bernadette Peters, Norm Lewis,  Andre De Shield, and even more Tony and Grammy Award winners, OBIEs, and MacArthur Genius Grant recipients. As one of Maryland's two state-designated theaters, we are known for our dedication to new work and our programming features exciting interdisciplinary work—music and dance series, spoken word, and other kinds of performance—alongside our regular slate of plays and musicals.

We offer a competitive salary of $49,000 annually, comprehensive health insurance, paid vacation, life insurance, FSA, and a 403B, and a supportive, creative atmosphere. You'll report directly to the Lighting Supervisor and oversee our dedicated team members including Apprentice Electricians and Overhires.
