Qualifications: The successful candidate is a congenial collaborator and a mentor with strong oral and written communication skills. Requirements: terminal degree in Acting or Directing, experience teaching undergraduate acting courses. Preference given to candidates with experience directing productions in an undergraduate environment. Also preferred, candidates with expertise in other areas of theatre, experience teaching Theatre Appreciation and knowledge of online course delivery. 

Description: This is a one-year appointment. Duties could include but are not limited to: teaching Acting I, Theatre Appreciation, and advanced special topics classes related to performance. The position may have other departmental duties such as attending faculty and performance area meetings and supporting recruitment. Candidates may have some responsibility connected to departmental productions such as directing, fight direction, movement or intimacy direction, or acting, dependent upon expertise and training.
